Cancellation Terms

Cancellation fees depend on how much notice has been given before your arrival date and if we have a chance to resell the cancelled dates.

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to info@worldescape.com and a confirmation of the cancellation will then be sent to you. If you do not receive confirmation, then your cancellation may not have been received. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure receipt of their cancellation.

Cancellation terms in most cases are:

  • With less than 6 days notice before your arrival date: 100% of the total remaining balance
  • With less than 255 days notice before your arrival date: 50% of the total remaining balance

If the policies for a particular apartment differ from the above, these will be stated on the apartment page

Please note that the booking deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance.

The Space:
This apartment offers the most spectacuar views over a lush green area, directly to the sea. Uninterrupted and stretching as far as the eye can see, the front terrace is the perfect place to watch the sun go down (or rise if you are a very early bird!!) The airy interior enjoys the same views also from the inside lounge seating area, via large patio doors where you can enjoy the sea air from the comfort of the sofa.

Interaction with Guests:
We can supply you with all the tourist information you need to decide what you want to do - if anything- during your stay. Alternatively we can be more hands on and arrange activities for you and you and your family/friends. Just tell us what you're into and we'll suggest some suitable activities!
We have office staff around on weekdays, and restaurant staff available for questions from 9am breakfast time when the restaurant opens until late (11pm +) when the bar closes.
The Neighborhood:
This fabulous site is situated in the lush foothills of the Five Finger Mountain Range in the Esentepe region. Enjoy having a delicious meals with spectacular views over the eternally beautiful coastline and breath taking mountain range.
Crystal Bay Marina consists of 145 quality apartments strategically positioned to maximise the Mediterranean Sea views to the North and the Mountain views to the South. Every apartment enjoys fantastic sea views from a large terrace area regardless of its position in the resort.
Getting Around:
• Taxi service available
• Regular bus service from the nearby village of Esentepe into the town of Kyrenia.
• Only one bus that currently runs past the resort each day.
• If you require groceries before your arrival this can be arranged provided you book this before your arrival.
Other Things to Note:
• Reasonable utility allowance per apartment of 14Kwh per day for electricity and 0.2 tonnes per day for water.
• Usage above this will be charged at 1TL per KwH and 10TL per tonne of water.
• Credit card details will need to be given on arrival or a cash deposit for this purpose.
• A security deposit is taken in the form of a credit card imprint against damages and theft. Utility usage over the allowance will be taken via this deposit method.

It is important that guest notify us of any items in the apartment that may have been damaged during their stay. Also upon departure we ask that guest collect all used/dirty laundry (towel and sheets) and put them in one place all together. Also all trash should be disposed of outside the apartment in the available trash bins. We do not expect guest to do a comprehensive clean upon departure. We do expect guest to leave the apartment in a relatively acceptable state. The apartment should be left as close to how it was when they arrived.
